Presentation

The Breitling Cosmonaute can be found with a steel bracelet, leather/crocodile strap, or on a rubber band. It has a 22 mm interhorn, and accepts about any strap with this measurement.

Metal bracelets

The 5-segment Breitling Pilot bracelet was the natural band for the Navitimer lineup from 1991 to 1996. It generally comes fully polished whether in stainless steel, gold, or two-tone material.

Since 1996, the band of choice for the Navitimer series becomes the 7-segment “Navitimer” bracelet.

Leather/Croc straps

The Cosmonaute accepts most any strap with a width of 22 mm. The Breitling straps' dimensions used to be 22/18 mm (22 mm at the lugs and 18 mm at the buckle), but are now 22/20 mm.

As usual, the Breitling leather/croc straps can be of the tang buckle type, or of the deployant buckle type.

In the 1960s, Breitling used to make black lizard straps for the Navitimer series.

Rubber bands

Though this is not a diving watch, it can physically be fitted to Breitling's 22 mm Pro Diver rubber bands.
